How to drink.

An excellent way to begin your day is to drink several large glasses of warm water, up to a quart, upon arising in the morning, up to about a quart.  This will supply you for several hours and you won’t have to think about how much to drink all day long.  Drinking a number of glasses of heated water will often help with constipation, as well. 
Otherwise, it is best to drink about four large glasses of water between meals.  Keep the amount of water at the meals low, so as not to dilute the digestive juices.  Drinking after about 6 PM can cause men, in particular, to be up urinating during the night, which is not helpful for resting and for sleep.
